I am glad I found your project Fernando. Thank you! I planed to do it for a long time ago and no I am determined to automate my planted tank with the help of the information on this forum. Unfortunately my knowledge and experience in coding is very limited so I would heavily rely on this forum and google.

I am just starting my build and am at the stage of gathering parts. I do not have even the mega yet and on eBay I found this lot http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272468708941 which offer convenient combination of the controller and the TFT display 3.2" 240x400. Is it supported by the libraries you use in the project?

I would than complete it with the RTC module like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400624291795 instead of buying the screen, the shield with RTC which you recommended and the board all separately.

I apologise in advance if I ask some silly questions... I hope to learn along with this project
