still would want to use a phone charger PSU no batteries to power it I would forget to change them.

This update looks to be very good
Can I ask if there will be a manual feed button, I dont have an automatic feeder and also enjoy feeding my fish. I would like to press a feed button to turn off the return pump and skimmer for 10 mins, then start the return pump, then another 5 mins and start the skimmer. I dont expect or ask that you write the software for me, just if you have already included something like this?

Dale, if you know the consume of current of the feeder you can calculate the resistor.
R = (5 - 3 ) / I
Guy, the button "start" that you can see in the image is a function "feed now", if the option "disable wavemaker" is activated the pump will turn off during the time configured.
To disable the skimmer or return pump is needed only add 5 lines of code.

I have a 5v walwart and the feeder needs 3v to run and for the drum to turn I just short the 2 wires by touching them together and the drum turns that is for the one I showed you I have not looked in to the one from D0ughb0y.
