Hi all,

I am trying the elclient library with the esp-link firmware on a esp-12e and ferduino mega.
The module is connected through the serial1 port of arduino.
When I run the "webserver_control" example, (provided with elclient lib.)

This is a video i found on youtube that shows how it should work...

Watch on youtube.com

As in the above video, i can successfully switch on, off and blink a led connected on pin 13 from the esplink interface, but the other objects in the form don t work at all. In detail, i am talking about the frequency and duty cycle that are sent to the webserver with the "submit" button.
Same with the userpage.
Whatever is part of a form is not working.
Any idea about it?
Thanks

Hi!

Serial1 can be used for ESP since you have jumpers in position 2-3 to make RTC work with 20 -21 otherwise you will have problems.

I never have played with this code so I think you should look for serial monitor to make sure that your HTML is sending messages correctly to your board.

Maybe you can get some useful info here: https://gitter.im/jeelabs/esp-link

Best regards.

Fernando,

In the meanwhile I solved the problem. In my case I had to turn debug output on "off" in esp-link, since it interfere with slip packets.
Thanks anyway.

Glad to hear!

It's a thing that I forgot to say in my tutorial. Maybe the packets loss can be smaller at high baud rate even with "NeoSWSerial" library.

This guy is doing something interesting take a look. I don't know if his code was published.
