Hello to all,
For those like me that have their WIFI router connected to a modem in a specific place of their house, there is an easy and cheap solution to add WIFI capacities to your ethernet shield.
This is simply done by using a mini router that you can buy on internet for less than 20$.
I found this solution while searching the web trying to solve my connection problems.
You can check this site http://www.lucadentella.it/en/2012/12/0 ... rduino-11/ for more informations.
This product comes from TP LINK with reference WR702N.
All you have to do is configure it to "client mode".
Configuration is very easy but you have to check the firmware version of your router because process are differents.
For firmware version 130314 or older see TP-LINK web site and search for FAQ 395.
For firmware version 130528 or later see TP-LINK web site and search for FAQ 612.
Once the router is connected to your ethernet shield, you can place your Ferduino wherever you want ( in your house ).
Best regards,
Jean-Yves
